What does Nozzle’s Purchase interval dashboard show:

The Purchase interval dashboard shows you at what point your customers are making their second purchase. You can use this information to know when to retarget customers to try and get them to buy again.

When is the Nozzle’s Purchase interval dashboard best used?

The Purchase interval dashboard is best used when used in conjunction with the Purchase Analysis Dashboard.

Use the Purchase Analysis dashboard to view products with a high repeat-purchase rate, and then filter for these ASINs (or categories) in the Purchase Intervals dashboard to better understand how to advertise these specific products.

Key points to note:

  • A customer can make a second purchase of any of your products, not just the same product as the filter applied

  • A peak in the 0-7 day range usually indicates the buyers are resellers, i.e. individuals repurchasing the product much sooner than expected to resell it elsewhere.

  • Best retargeting window refers to the timeframe in which the highest proportion of customers make a second purchase. This is the window where you would be most likely to see return on your retargeting campaigns, as your customers are already likely to have intent to purchase at this time.

  • You should also pay attention to the 'Time to 80% of repeats' and use it as your latest time for retargeting - since you know that 80% of customers have already re-purchased by this time, setting campaigns any later than this would be inefficient in terms of ad spend
